Heather, Dudley, and Nicholas came over on Sunday for dinner (pizza!) to see the Christmas lights in Reston Town Center and to check out the skating rink. The third shot below shows them with the tree and the almost-full moon just barely visible in the upper right. Nicholas loved the ice rink and was ready to strap on skates.
In The Next Chapter, the action of the story is intensifying, becoming more complicated, leading to the final denouement. In this case it is also a metaphor for my life. At seventy-six, I am creating this late-in-life chapter that resurrects a long-put-aside passion for writing. There is no manual for it, and it takes courage, patience, and chutzpah to pull it off while negotiating with time and nature. Wish me luck!

THE TRIANGLE IN LIGHTS
Heather, Dudley, and Nicholas came over on Sunday for dinner (pizza!) to see the Christmas lights in Reston Town Center and to check out the skating rink. The third shot below shows them with the tree and the almost-full moon just barely visible in the upper right. Nicholas loved the ice rink and was ready to strap on skates.
